To create a landing page, simply click on “Landing Pages” on the left-side menu from your dashboard, then “Create Page.” You’ll be presented with a wide selection of landing page templates that you can customize for your promotion.
If you are an experienced web designer, you will be able to create a blank page. However, since many of you are reading this and will use it for the first time, we’ll construct a full landing page using existing page templates for the sake of this tutorial.
There are a lot of template options that you can choose from based on your planned campaign by selecting the use case filter. You may find a template that’s designed to convince users to download your app (App download), one geared toward signing people up for an upcoming event (Event registration), or one that’s made to simply thank them for purchasing your product/service (Thank you). No matter the use case, Instapage has a template all set for you to use.
Now, let’s say we’re building a landing page to launch a product. What are you going to do in this situation? You can start by selecting “Product Launch” from the filter. Next, choose one of the themes that will appear in the search results. As you pick the landing page design that you think looks good for what you’re aiming to promote, you’ll be welcomed by a quick page preview.
