Instapage Landing Page Builder: A Overview Ads Destination Not Working Landing Page Instapage
Before we can get to the bottom, it is important that you understand what Instapage actually is as a platform. Instapage is a landing page builder designed to help you generate attractive, eye-catching, and overall high-quality landing pages. However, it’s not just any average landing page editor. Since a showcase of very powerful tools backs it, Instapage makes it easy to create high-converting landing pages quickly and efficiently.
With its drag-and-drop interface, Instapage lets you customize your pages without any semblance of coding knowledge. It also allows you to explore a wide range of ready-made templates for various industries or niches to get started immediately. With its ability to customize and personalize dynamically, your pages will stand out among the rest with an extensive library that includes images, videos and building blocks.
Instapage offers advanced analytics tools that allow you to monitor how each page performs, in keeping with its promise of delivering outstanding conversion rates and promising leads through your landing pages. Additionally, to help you make the most of your landing pages, it allows you to connect with leading marketing, reporting, and testing platforms, making it highly possible to reach your goals quickly. Instapage is a popular online landing page builder because of these features and many more.
Using Instapage to Create a Landing Page
If you’re running a business for the first time, especially one that’s online-centric, you need to realize just how important a landing page is. Not only does it present how your business will appear to the general public, but it also serves as an ever-effective way of building a strong, dedicated consumer base.
Although the idea of creating a landing page sounds appealing, it comes at a significant cost. The overall cost of creating a landing page can depend on several factors, from the complexity of the design to the resources needed to build and maintain it. However, it is more expensive to create and maintain a landing page that has many features. It doesn’t help, either, if you don’t have the skills or time to create one yourself and would rather rely on hiring a designer or agency to do it for you. You could end up spending several hundred to several thousand more on this route than you have budgeted.
So, if you want to create high-quality, high-converting landing pages – the same ones that any established web designer can do, yet need more money to splurge on one, Instapage could be your ideal solution. It offers a wide array of features and customization options, making it simple to design a page that looks great and functions perfectly.

As you can see, these are just some of the many features that you can expect from Instapage. I’ll show you the rest later on in the article, but for now, since we have a general idea of what it is, it would be nice if I take you through a hands-on look at what it’s like to use this landing page builder for the first time.
Sign up now to create an account. Just like every other landing page builder, you won’t fully get the Instapage experience until you register your account. As soon as you log in, you’ll first notice your dashboard, where you’ll find a full overview of how much progress you’ll be making. You won’t see much on your dashboard because this is your first attempt. It’s okay, you’ll learn how to create your own landing page. Let’s get started!
From scratch, you can build a landing page
To create a landing page, simply click on “Landing Pages” on the left-side menu from your dashboard, then “Create Page.” Once you hit the button, you’ll instantly be greeted by a vast collection of around 200 landing page templates, each of which you can use and customize however you like for whatever you want to promote.
You’ll also be given the option to start with a blank page without any template or design (Blank Page), but that’s up to you if you think you have experience in building websites. However, since many of you are reading this and will use it for the first time, we’ll construct a full landing page using existing page templates for the sake of this tutorial.
You have many options to choose from depending on the purpose of your campaign. Select the Use case filter to see a list of available templates. You may find a template that’s designed to convince users to download your app (App download), one geared toward signing people up for an upcoming event (Event registration), or one that’s made to simply thank them for purchasing your product/service (Thank you). Instapage has a template for every use case.
Let’s suppose we are creating a landing page for launching a product. What should you do? You can start by selecting “Product Launch” from the filter. Next, choose one of the themes that will appear in the search results. A page preview will be displayed to you as you select the landing page design you feel best fits your product. This is to give you a taste of your end product once it’s published to the public online.
It’s up to the user to decide if they will use it. You can always go back to the beginning and look at the layout until you find it perfect. Otherwise, if you like it, then you can click “Use this layout.” After you have chosen the landing page design you will need to give it a name to help keep things organized.
Customizing Your Landing Page
Now that you have your page layout, it is time to personalize it to your liking. You’ll be immediately redirected to the Instapage page builder, which happens to be one of my all-time favorites coming from the platform (an opinion that, surprisingly, everyone agrees!). This stage allows you to enhance the visual appeal and engagement of your landing page. The best part of it all is that you don’t need to do any of the work since Instapage does it for you.
Within the Instapage Builder, you can very easily drag and drop elements within the page anywhere you want, unlike the WordPress version, where you could try to pull any element, only for it to be locked in a certain row/column and not move entirely. Instead, how it works can simply be compared to that of the Photoshop interface – you won’t ever see the elements you’re dragging get locked all of a sudden, so indeed, you have the freedom to move your mouse and drag-and-drop however you like.
While the ability to drag and drop may feel more Photoshop-like, the rest of the Builder’s interface should be in some ways familiar, especially to those who’ve used the WordPress editor in the past. There are many elements, widgets and forms available to you. Once you click on one of them, you can make any changes you want to your landing page.
Adding Elements and Making Adjustments
You can add and rearrange visual elements to your Instapage Builder experience. Interactive features such as surveys and text boxes can be added to your Instapage Builder account to capture user data while keeping them interested. You can also use fonts, colors, and other design elements to further enhance the look of your page. Ads Destination Not Working Landing Page Instapage
Instapage terminology refers to a group of elements that are grouped together as a block. A block can be modified with a few adjustments and elements. If you want, you can copy, duplicate, and even delete the block. And that’s just for creating a full block – if you don’t have ample time to deal with it or are not confident enough with your page-building skills, you can always look at the Instapage Builder’s selection of block templates, each ready-to-use.
Every time you build a landing page, you’ll notice that the preview appears designed for desktop use. If you want to create a mobile-friendly version of your page here in Instapage, you won’t have to worry about starting again from scratch. Every template is optimized for mobile use. You can hide certain elements, or entire blocks, just like you could with the desktop version. This is useful for those who visit your landing page via their smartphones.
With this life-saving feature, you won’t need to go too far to the point where you’ll have two completely different page versions. This is how you can make your landing page attractive and effective for marketing your products or service.
Publishing Your Landing Page
Now comes the crucial part. Now you need to publish your page to make it available to your audience. Publishing a landing page is an important step in the process of creating success in whatever you’re promoting, whether it’s a product or a service. This will make sure that your landing page is visible to as many people as possible, and increase traffic to your website. Ads Destination Not Working Landing Page Instapage
Are you satisfied with the layout and design? You can integrate Instapage with any of the following options:
- You will need to connect your custom domain to your Instapage account before it can be published to your domain. This process is quite complicated, but Instapage will guide you with instructions.
- WordPress – You can publish your page instantly thanks to its native WordPress integration
- Drupal – If you are a large-scale Drupal user, your Instapage-made page can be published instantly by connecting it with the Drupal plug-in.
- Facebook – this option is useful if you expect most of your visitors to find your page via Facebook and you want to improve the user experience there
- Demo page – This is an easy way to publish your landing page without a domain. Instead, Instapage will provide a subdomain.
You can also download your page to be edited and modified for future use, or export it to co-workers and collaborators. You can save your page progress and come back anytime if you aren’t ready to publish it.

Instapage’s Other Important Features
Instablocks and Global Blocks
You can add elements to create blocks within pages, but you also have the benefit of being able save it and reuse it whenever you need to make another page. To further cut the time spent on building landing pages in half, you can save the blocks you made yourself as Instablocks, which you can implement when you create other pages in future projects. To do this, simply right-click on the block you want to use again, then click “Save to My Blocks.” Ads Destination Not Working Landing Page Instapage
Meanwhile, Global Blocks work similarly to Instablocks – the only difference between the two is that the design and layout of the former are specific to one page. The Global Blocks look consistent across all pages. This means if you edit a Global Block on one page, all the changes will be reflected on the same block built into other pages. This can be very useful if you have a section on your website that you wish to be consistent across pages, such as a header, footer or footer. You can disable this feature if you wish.
Split Testing to Optimize Your Landing Pages
A/B/n testing is a great way to optimize your page. Before you publish your page, ensure that it is appealing to the public. With the optimization experiments feature built into the Instapage Builder, you can easily determine which elements or blocks of the landing page should stay as is since most users are particularly drawn to it, as well as which parts need to be changed.
Split-testing multiple versions of a landing pages is possible with Instapage. Click on the “Traffic Split” button in the Builder to view the options. This allows you to compare and contrast different versions of the page to determine which one performs best. You can create multiple pages and choose the percentage of traffic that will be sent to each version. Instapage then shows you detailed analytic metrics, allowing you to see which version performs better. The winning page can be used as your final landing page layout. You can also continue testing with other variants to optimize it. This will ensure that your page provides the best visitor experience and increases conversion rates. Real-Time Collaboration Tools
Instapage’s many benefits include the ability to collaborate with others and create an immersive experience. With the platform’s live collaboration, working in groups or as a team will be possible. You can add comments to different pages by clicking on the blocks or elements. This is useful if any of you want to request changes or additions in the design and layout, as well as other suggestions.
Instapage has also made it possible for you to share your page, even if it’s in progress, with your teammates through a private URL that you can copy and share in their group chat. You may opt to invite any of them with their email addresses as well. Your page can be accessed by other Instapage users. Those who don’t have an account can still view what you are working on.
Instapage AdMap for Increased Conversions
The AdMap tool is a great way to make sure your landing page for your product/service gets sent to the right people. It’s designed to help increase your conversions and maximize your return on investment by creating and tracking ads across multiple platforms, particularly Google search results and social media sites.
AdMap allows you to customize your ads based on your audience’s interests and behaviors. It can help optimize customer journeys by identifying and eliminating roadblocks and pain points that prevent customers from converting. It can also help users to see how changes to an ad or page affect the overall performance of their campaign. With its easy-to-use interface and detailed analytics reports, Instapage AdMap is the perfect solution for anyone who wants to increase their ROI and conversion rate. You must take note, though, that you must have a Google Ads account to access this feature. Ads Destination Not Working Landing Page Instapage
Integration with Google Ads
Speaking of Google Ads, if you happen to use it frequently for digital marketing and business purposes, you can easily connect your landing page with your Google Ads account to maximize your reach to a much wider audience. With only a few clicks away, you can review and keep track of your campaign’s progress, how much you’ve spent, and even how well-received your pages are for countless online users worldwide – all while you’re in your Instapage dashboard.
Heatmap Analytics Tool
Instapage’s native heatmap analytics allows you to see how users interact with your landing pages. This will allow you to gain valuable insight into customers’ use of a website. This tool allows businesses to identify hotspots in their websites, such as pages visited the most or buttons clicked most frequently.
Heatmaps can also be used to identify usability issues that customers might have, which allows businesses to quickly and effectively make improvements. This can be used to track visitor journeys across multiple pages and devices, providing valuable information about how customers engage with content and websites and helping businesses grow and succeed in the long run. Analytics in Instapage
Instapage excels as both a landing-page creator and a lead generation tool. Its analytics section perfectly reflects this. Real-time analytics is one of Instapage’s most popular features. It provides a complete overview of how your page is performing online and includes detailed visuals as well as accurate numbers. This feature allows you to monitor and analyze their landing pages’ performance. The feature provides detailed information on metrics such as page views, unique visitors, bounce rates, and more. This information can then be used to optimize and improve the quality of landing pages and, in return, the overall standing of a business.
Included in the lineup of analytics tools that Instapage offers is the Conversion Goals tool built within the page builder, which allows you to set specific goals for your page to track. Additionally, you can integrate with third-party analytics platforms to gain insights into user behavior and help boost the optimization of your page, such as Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, and more. Instapage Analytics helps users understand how their landing pages perform and make data-driven decisions about how to improve them.
Instapage Pricing: How Much Does It Cost?
Considering its wide and robust range of advanced-level tools and features, it’s no surprise that Instapage’s price range is more high-end than other landing page software. Its services were previously priced at $68, but now it costs just $199 per month. The pricing may be a lot to take in, especially for smaller businesses with limited budgets. Still, it’s worth noting that Instapage provides much more than any landing page editor can, including WordPress.
