From scratch, you can build a landing page
To create a landing page, simply click on “Landing Pages” on the left-side menu from your dashboard, then “Create Page.” You’ll be presented with a wide selection of landing page templates that you can customize for your promotion.
If you are an experienced web designer, you will be able to create a blank page. We will build a landing page from scratch using templates that are already in use, as many people are reading this tutorial.
There are a lot of template options that you can choose from based on your planned campaign by selecting the use case filter. You may find a template that’s designed to convince users to download your app (App download), one geared toward signing people up for an upcoming event (Event registration), or one that’s made to simply thank them for purchasing your product/service (Thank you). Instapage has a template for every use case.
Let’s suppose we are creating a landing page for launching a product. What are you going to do in this situation? To start, you can pick “Product launch” from the use case filter, then select one of the multiple themes that will come up in the search results. As you pick the landing page design that you think looks good for what you’re aiming to promote, you’ll be welcomed by a quick page preview. This preview will give you an idea of the final product when it is made available to the public.
It’s up to the user to decide if they will use it. You can always go back to the beginning and look at the layout until you find it perfect. Instapage’s Other Notable Features
Instablocks and Global Blocks
While you can add certain elements to create a block within a page, you get the added benefit of being able to save and reuse it whenever you want to create another page. You can also save your own blocks as Instablocks to cut down on the time it takes to build landing pages. These blocks can be used in future pages. Global Blocks, on the other hand, work in the same way as Instablocks. The only difference is that they are specific to one page. The Global Blocks look consistent across all pages. This means if you edit a Global Block on one page, all the changes will be reflected on the same block built into other pages. This can be very useful if you have a section on your website that you wish to be consistent across pages, such as a header, footer or footer. You can disable this feature if you wish.
