Instapage is backed by a number of powerful tools that make it simple to quickly create high-converting landing page templates.

You can also explore ready-made templates that are suitable for different industries and niches. Thanks to its dynamic customization and personalization capabilities, you can make your pages stand out from the competition with an extensive library of images, videos, building blocks, and other components.
Instapage offers advanced analytics tools that allow you to monitor how each page performs, in keeping with its promise of delivering outstanding conversion rates and promising leads through your landing pages. Additionally, to help you make the most of your landing pages, it allows you to connect with leading marketing, reporting, and testing platforms, making it highly possible to reach your goals quickly. Instapage is a popular online landing page builder because of these features and many more.
Using Instapage to Create a Landing Page
If you’re running a business for the first time, especially one that’s online-centric, you need to realize just how important a landing page is. Not only does it present how your business will appear to the general public, but it also serves as an ever-effective way of building a strong, dedicated consumer base.
Although the idea of creating a landing page sounds appealing, it comes at a significant cost. There are many factors that can affect the cost of creating a landing site, including the complexity of the design and the resources required to build it. However, it is more expensive to create and maintain a landing page that has many features. If you don’t have the time or skills to make one, it’s better to hire a professional agency or designer to do it. Going that route would eventually cost you a few hundred to several thousand dollars more than your budget would allow.
Instapage is the perfect solution if you are looking to create high-quality and high-converting landing pages. Instapage offers many customization options and features that make it easy to create pages that look great and work perfectly.

Why Use Instapage?
Instapage is a powerful tool to create engaging landing pages that convert potential customers into customers. Apart from its page-building customization tools, here are some of the go-to reasons why this platform is worth the try for anyone who manages any business, big or small.

Instapage Features: An in-depth review of its templates, editing, and more
Signing in to Instapage will be your first step. It already has a lot of tools and features that you need to create beautiful landing pages. Here are just some of the offerings this platform has to bring:
- Easy-to-use page builder that uses drag-and-drop technology
- The option to create mobile-friendly versions of landing pages
- Templates that can be customized to your exact specifications
- Blocks, forms, and other elements that can be easily resized and modified to fit your needs.
- Unlimited access to high quality stock images
- Export to WordPress or your custom domain for easy publishing and export
- Integrations with popular digital marketing and email marketing tools such as MailChimp
As you can see, these are just some of the many features that you can expect from Instapage. The rest will be covered in the article. But for now, I thought it would be helpful to give you a first-hand look at how it feels to use Instapage’s landing page builder.
The first step that you’ll need to take is to sign up and create your account. You won’t be able to fully experience Instapage until you sign up. As soon as you log in, you’ll first notice your dashboard, where you’ll find a full overview of how much progress you’ll be making. Since this is your first time, you won’t be able to see a lot on your dashboard. It’s okay, you’ll learn how to create your own landing page. Let’s get started!
Building a Landing Page from Scratch
To create a landing page, simply click on “Landing Pages” on the left-side menu from your dashboard, then “Create Page.” You’ll be presented with a wide selection of landing page templates that you can customize for your promotion.
You’ll also be given the option to start with a blank page without any template or design (Blank Page), but that’s up to you if you think you have experience in building websites. We will build a landing page from scratch using templates that are already in use, as many people are reading this tutorial.
There are a lot of template options that you can choose from based on your planned campaign by selecting the use case filter. You may find a template that’s designed to convince users to download your app (App download), one geared toward signing people up for an upcoming event (Event registration), or one that’s made to simply thank them for purchasing your product/service (Thank you). Instapage has a template for every use case.
Now, let’s say we’re building a landing page to launch a product. What should you do? You can start by selecting “Product Launch” from the filter. Next, choose one of the themes that will appear in the search results. As you pick the landing page design that you think looks good for what you’re aiming to promote, you’ll be welcomed by a quick page preview. This is to give you a taste of your end product once it’s published to the public online.
It’s up to the user to decide if they will use it. If, for some reason, you don’t vibe with the layout, and you can always go back and skim through until you find the perfect fit. Otherwise, if you like it, then you can click “Use this layout.” Once you’ve chosen your landing page design, you’ll need to come up with a name as a way to keep things in order.
Customizing Your Landing Page
Now that you have your page layout, it is time to personalize it to your liking. You’ll be immediately redirected to the Instapage page builder, which happens to be one of my all-time favorites coming from the platform (an opinion that, surprisingly, everyone agrees!). This stage allows you to enhance the visual appeal and engagement of your landing page. Instapage takes care of everything for you.
Within the Instapage Builder, you can very easily drag and drop elements within the page anywhere you want, unlike the WordPress version, where you could try to pull any element, only for it to be locked in a certain row/column and not move entirely. Instead, how it works can simply be compared to that of the Photoshop interface – you won’t ever see the elements you’re dragging get locked all of a sudden, so indeed, you have the freedom to move your mouse and drag-and-drop however you like.
While the ability to drag and drop may feel more Photoshop-like, the rest of the Builder’s interface should be in some ways familiar, especially to those who’ve used the WordPress editor in the past. You’ll find a full set of elements, widgets, and forms within your reach, and once you click on any of them, you can add as many tweaks as possible to make your landing page more presentable.
Adding Elements and Making Modifications
The Instapage Builder experience, of course, wouldn’t be complete without the ability to add and rearrange a wide array of visual elements such as images, videos, and graphics, as well as headlines, text boxes, buttons, shapes, and even widgets. Interactive features such as surveys and text boxes can be added to your Instapage Builder account to capture user data while keeping them interested. To enhance the appearance of your webpage, you can use colors, fonts, and other design elements. Instapage Can I Use Both Internal And External Tracking
Instapage terminology refers to a group of elements that are grouped together as a block. A block can be modified with a few adjustments and elements. If you want, you can copy, duplicate, and even delete the block. And that’s just for creating a full block – if you don’t have ample time to deal with it or are not confident enough with your page-building skills, you can always look at the Instapage Builder’s selection of block templates, each ready-to-use.
You’ll notice the preview for a landing page you create is designed for desktop. Instapage makes it easy to create a mobile-friendly version. Every template is optimized for mobile use. You can hide certain elements, or entire blocks, just like you could with the desktop version. This is useful for those who visit your landing page via their smartphones.
This life-saving feature will allow you to create two different pages without having to go too far. This is how you can make your landing page attractive and effective for marketing your products or service.
Publishing Your Landing Page
Now comes the crucial part. Once your page is ready and optimized, the next thing you must need to do is to publish it to make it live and accessible to your audience. A landing page is essential to promoting a product or service. This will make sure that your landing page is visible to as many people as possible, and increase traffic to your website. Instapage Can I Use Both Internal And External Tracking
Are you satisfied with the layout and design? Instapage can be integrated with any of these options:
- You will need to connect your custom domain to your Instapage account before it can be published to your domain. This process is quite complicated, but Instapage will guide you with instructions.
- WordPress – you can publish your page in an instant thanks to its native WordPress integration
- Drupal – if you work for a large-scale company that has Drupal, you can publish your Instapage-made page instantly when you connect it using the Drupal plug-in.
- Facebook – this option is useful if you expect most of your visitors to find your page via Facebook and you want to improve the user experience there
- Demo page – This is an easy way to publish your landing page without a domain. Instead, Instapage will provide a subdomain.
Additionally, you may opt to download your page for you to edit and modify for future use and even export it to your co-workers or collaborators. If, for some reason, you’re not fully ready to publish it, you can always save its progress, and you can come back to it anytime.

Instapage’s Other Notable Features
Instablocks & Global Blocks
You can add elements to create blocks within pages, but you also have the benefit of being able save it and reuse it whenever you need to make another page. To further cut the time spent on building landing pages in half, you can save the blocks you made yourself as Instablocks, which you can implement when you create other pages in future projects. Simply right-click the block you wish to reuse, and then click “Save To My Blocks”. Instapage Can I Use Both Internal And External Tracking
Global Blocks, on the other hand, work in the same way as Instablocks. The only difference is that they are specific to one page. The Global Blocks look consistent across all pages. If you make changes to a Global Block on a page, they will reflect on any other blocks. This feature can be useful if you have a section of your website, such as a header or footer, that you want to be consistent across multiple pages. However, you can always disable it if you prefer.
Split Testing to Optimize Your Landing Page
A/B/n testing is a great way to optimize your page. Before you publish your page, ensure that it is appealing to the public. With the optimization experiments feature built into the Instapage Builder, you can easily determine which elements or blocks of the landing page should stay as is since most users are particularly drawn to it, as well as which parts need to be changed.
Split-testing multiple versions of a landing pages is possible with Instapage. Click on the “Traffic Split” button in the Builder to view the options. This allows you to compare and contrast different versions of the page to determine which one performs best. You can create multiple pages and choose the percentage of traffic that will be sent to each version. Instapage will then show you detailed analytics to help you determine which version is performing best. You can use the winning page as your final landing page layout or continue testing it with different variants to optimize it, ensuring that your page delivers the best possible visitor experience and improves conversion rates. Real-Time Collaboration Tools
One of the many nice aspects of Instapage is that you can conveniently collaborate with other people to create a more immersive experience. If you work in a group or team, you’ll be able to do exactly that with the platform’s real-time collaboration features. As you turn on Comment mode, you and your teammates can leave comments on different parts of the page by simply clicking on any of the elements or blocks. This is useful if any of you want to request changes or additions in the design and layout, as well as other suggestions.
Instapage has also made it possible for you to share your page, even if it’s in progress, with your teammates through a private URL that you can copy and share in their group chat. You may opt to invite any of them with their email addresses as well. Not only can your page be accessed by fellow Instapage users – those who don’t have one can also take a look at what you’re working on.
Increased Conversions with Instapage AdMap
The AdMap tool is a great way to make sure your landing page for your product/service gets sent to the right people. The AdMap tool is designed to increase conversions and maximize return on investment. It allows you to create and track ads across multiple platforms, including Google search results.

It can also help users to see how changes to an ad or page affect the overall performance of their campaign. Instapage AdMap offers a simple interface and detailed analytics reports that will help anyone increase their conversion rate and ROI. Instapage excels as both a landing-page creator and a lead generation tool. Its analytics section perfectly reflects this. Real-time analytics is one of Instapage’s most popular features.
