Instapage, a popular landing-page software, allows users to create landing pages and optimize them for their websites. In this article, I’d like to share with you my comprehensive review of Instapage to determine if it is the best landing page builder on the market.
I’ve been using Instapage for quite some time to make high-converting pages for my and other businesses. Since I got the opportunity and enough money to move from a different page builder to here, I have grown to appreciate how much Instapage can offer. While there are many benefits I have enjoyed, there is always a downside.
With that in mind, I will be reviewing the features of Instapage and also discussing the pricing plans available to the platform as well as how to use it. You’ll be able to see if Instapage is right for you by the end of the review.

Instapage Landing Page Builder: A Overview Moving Instapage To Blogger
Before we can get to the bottom, it is important that you understand what Instapage actually is as a platform. Instapage is a landing page builder designed to help you generate attractive, eye-catching, and overall high-quality landing pages. It’s more than a landing page editor. Instapage is backed by a number of powerful tools that make it simple to quickly create high-converting landing page templates.
Instapage’s drag-and-drop interface makes it easy to customize your pages with no coding skills. It also allows you to explore a wide range of ready-made templates for various industries or niches to get started immediately. With its ability to customize and personalize dynamically, your pages will stand out among the rest with an extensive library that includes images, videos and building blocks.
Keeping up with the promise to deliver outstanding conversion rates and promising leads to your landing pages, Instapage provides advanced analytics tools to measure how well each page is performing. Additionally, to help you make the most of your landing pages, it allows you to connect with leading marketing, reporting, and testing platforms, making it highly possible to reach your goals quickly. Because of all these and more included in this online software, there’s no doubt that Instapage has become one of the most popular landing page builders on the market today.
Instapage is a tool to create a landing page
If you’re running a business for the first time, especially one that’s online-centric, you need to realize just how important a landing page is. Not only does it present how your business will appear to the general public, but it also serves as an ever-effective way of building a strong, dedicated consumer base.
Although the idea of creating a landing page sounds appealing, it comes at a significant cost. The overall cost of creating a landing page can depend on several factors, from the complexity of the design to the resources needed to build and maintain it. However, it is more expensive to create and maintain a landing page that has many features. It doesn’t help, either, if you don’t have the skills or time to create one yourself and would rather rely on hiring a designer or agency to do it for you. You could end up spending several hundred to several thousand more on this route than you have budgeted.
So, if you want to create high-quality, high-converting landing pages – the same ones that any established web designer can do, yet need more money to splurge on one, Instapage could be your ideal solution. Instapage offers many customization options and features that make it easy to create pages that look great and work perfectly.

These are only a few of the many features you can expect from Instapage. I’ll show you the rest later on in the article, but for now, since we have a general idea of what it is, it would be nice if I take you through a hands-on look at what it’s like to use this landing page builder for the first time.
Sign up now to create an account. Just like every other landing page builder, you won’t fully get the Instapage experience until you register your account. Once you log in, your dashboard will appear. This is where you can see a complete overview of the progress you are making. Since this is your first time, you won’t be able to see a lot on your dashboard. But that’s okay because you’re going to learn anyway how to build a landing page of your own. Let’s get started!
Building a Landing Page from Scratch
To create a landing page, simply click on “Landing Pages” on the left-side menu from your dashboard, then “Create Page.” Once you hit the button, you’ll instantly be greeted by a vast collection of around 200 landing page templates, each of which you can use and customize however you like for whatever you want to promote.
If you are an experienced web designer, you will be able to create a blank page. However, since many of you are reading this and will use it for the first time, we’ll construct a full landing page using existing page templates for the sake of this tutorial.
You have many options to choose from depending on the purpose of your campaign. Select the Use case filter to see a list of available templates. You may find a template that’s designed to convince users to download your app (App download), one geared toward signing people up for an upcoming event (Event registration), or one that’s made to simply thank them for purchasing your product/service (Thank you). Instapage has a template for every use case.
Let’s suppose we are creating a landing page for launching a product. What should you do? To start, you can pick “Product launch” from the use case filter, then select one of the multiple themes that will come up in the search results. As you pick the landing page design that you think looks good for what you’re aiming to promote, you’ll be welcomed by a quick page preview. This preview will give you an idea of the final product when it is made available to the public.
It’s up to the user to decide if they will use it. You can always go back to the beginning and look at the layout until you find it perfect. Otherwise, if you like it, then you can click “Use this layout.” After you have chosen the landing page design you will need to give it a name to help keep things organized.
Customizing Your Landing Page
Now that you have your page layout, it is time to personalize it to your liking. You’ll be immediately redirected to the Instapage page builder, which happens to be one of my all-time favorites coming from the platform (an opinion that, surprisingly, everyone agrees!). In this stage, you have the opportunity to make your landing page more visually appealing and engaging. Instapage takes care of everything for you.
Within the Instapage Builder, you can very easily drag and drop elements within the page anywhere you want, unlike the WordPress version, where you could try to pull any element, only for it to be locked in a certain row/column and not move entirely. Instead, how it works can simply be compared to that of the Photoshop interface – you won’t ever see the elements you’re dragging get locked all of a sudden, so indeed, you have the freedom to move your mouse and drag-and-drop however you like.
While the ability to drag and drop may feel more Photoshop-like, the rest of the Builder’s interface should be in some ways familiar, especially to those who’ve used the WordPress editor in the past. You’ll find a full set of elements, widgets, and forms within your reach, and once you click on any of them, you can add as many tweaks as possible to make your landing page more presentable.
Adding Elements and Making Adjustments
You can add and rearrange visual elements to your Instapage Builder experience. Interactive features such as surveys and text boxes can be added to your Instapage Builder account to capture user data while keeping them interested. You can also use fonts, colors, and other design elements to further enhance the look of your page. Moving Instapage To Blogger
In Instapage terms, a set of elements grouped is called a block. A block can be modified with a few adjustments and elements. If you want, you can copy, duplicate, and even delete the block. This is just how to create a block. If you don’t have enough time or confidence in your page-building skills you can always use the Instapage Builder’s block templates.
You’ll notice the preview for a landing page you create is designed for desktop. If you want to create a mobile-friendly version of your page here in Instapage, you won’t have to worry about starting again from scratch. Every template is optimized for mobile use. You can hide certain elements, or entire blocks, just like you could with the desktop version. This is useful for those who visit your landing page via their smartphones.
This life-saving feature will allow you to create two different pages without having to go too far. Overall, by customizing your landing page this way, you can create an attractive and effective platform for marketing your products or services.
Publishing Your Landing Page
Now comes the crucial part. Now you need to publish your page to make it available to your audience. Publishing a landing page is an important step in the process of creating success in whatever you’re promoting, whether it’s a product or a service. This will ensure that your page is seen by as many people as possible and help you to increase traffic to your site. Moving Instapage To Blogger
Are you satisfied with the layout and design? Instapage can be integrated with any of these options:
- You will need to connect your custom domain to your Instapage account before it can be published to your domain. This process is quite complicated, but Instapage will guide you with instructions.
- WordPress – You can publish your page instantly thanks to its native WordPress integration
- Drupal – If you are a large-scale Drupal user, your Instapage-made page can be published instantly by connecting it with the Drupal plug-in.
- Facebook – This option is helpful if most of your visitors will find your page via Facebook, and you wish to improve the user experience.
- Demo page – This is an easy way to publish your landing page without a domain. Instead, Instapage will provide a subdomain.
You can also download your page to be edited and modified for future use, or export it to co-workers and collaborators. You can save your page progress and come back anytime if you aren’t ready to publish it.

Instapage’s Other Important Features
Instablocks and Global Blocks
You can add elements to create blocks within pages, but you also have the benefit of being able save it and reuse it whenever you need to make another page. You can also save your own blocks as Instablocks to cut down on the time it takes to build landing pages. These blocks can be used in future pages. To do this, simply right-click on the block you want to use again, then click “Save to My Blocks.” Moving Instapage To Blogger
Global Blocks, on the other hand, work in the same way as Instablocks. The only difference is that they are specific to one page. The Global Blocks look consistent across all pages. This means if you edit a Global Block on one page, all the changes will be reflected on the same block built into other pages. This feature can be useful if you have a section of your website, such as a header or footer, that you want to be consistent across multiple pages. However, you can always disable it if you prefer.
Split Testing to Optimize Your Landing Pages
Optimizing your webpage with A/B/n testing can be a great way to improve it. Before you’re ready to publish, you need to ensure that whatever you’re making should attract the general public. The optimization experiments feature in the Instapage Builder allows you to easily identify which elements or blocks should remain as they are, since many people are drawn to them, and which parts must be modified.
Split-testing multiple versions of a landing pages is possible with Instapage. Click on the “Traffic Split” button in the Builder to view the options. This allows you to compare and contrast different versions of the page to determine which one performs best. You can create multiple versions of your page and decide the percentage of traffic to be sent to each variation. Instapage then shows you detailed analytic metrics, allowing you to see which version performs better. The winning page can be used as your final landing page layout. You can also continue testing with other variants to optimize it. This will ensure that your page provides the best visitor experience and increases conversion rates. Moving Instapage To Blogger
Real-Time Collaboration Tools
One of the many nice aspects of Instapage is that you can conveniently collaborate with other people to create a more immersive experience. If you work in a group or team, you’ll be able to do exactly that with the platform’s real-time collaboration features. As you turn on Comment mode, you and your teammates can leave comments on different parts of the page by simply clicking on any of the elements or blocks. This feature is helpful if you have any suggestions or requests for changes to the layout and design.
Instapage also allows you to share your page with your team members, even if it is still in progress. This URL can be copied and shared in the group chat. You may opt to invite any of them with their email addresses as well. Your page can be accessed by other Instapage users. Those who don’t have an account can still view what you are working on.
Increased Conversions with Instapage AdMap
The AdMap tool is a great way to make sure your landing page for your product/service gets sent to the right people. It’s designed to help increase your conversions and maximize your return on investment by creating and tracking ads across multiple platforms, particularly Google search results and social media sites.
AdMap allows you to customize your ads based on your audience’s interests and behaviors. It can be used to optimize the customer’s journey by identifying and removing the pain points and roadblocks to conversion. It can also help users to see how changes to an ad or page affect the overall performance of their campaign. Instapage AdMap offers a simple interface and detailed analytics reports that will help anyone increase their conversion rate and ROI. You must take note, though, that you must have a Google Ads account to access this feature. Moving Instapage To Blogger
Integration with Google Ads
Speaking of Google Ads, if you happen to use it frequently for digital marketing and business purposes, you can easily connect your landing page with your Google Ads account to maximize your reach to a much wider audience. With only a few clicks away, you can review and keep track of your campaign’s progress, how much you’ve spent, and even how well-received your pages are for countless online users worldwide – all while you’re in your Instapage dashboard.
Heatmap Analytics Tool
Instapage’s native heatmap analytics allows you to see how users interact with your landing pages. This will allow you to gain valuable insight into customers’ use of a website. This tool allows businesses to identify hotspots in their websites, such as pages visited the most or buttons clicked most frequently.
Heatmaps also help to highlight any usability issues customers may be experiencing, allowing businesses to make changes quickly and effectively. This can be used to track visitor journeys across multiple pages and devices, providing valuable information about how customers engage with content and websites and helping businesses grow and succeed in the long run. Analytics in Instapage
Instapage shines best as both a landing page creator and a lead generation tool, so it’s for this reason that its analytics section perfectly reflects it. Real-time analytics is one of Instapage’s most popular features. It provides a complete overview of how your page is performing online and includes detailed visuals as well as accurate numbers. This feature allows you to monitor and analyze their landing pages’ performance. The feature provides detailed information on metrics such as page views, unique visitors, bounce rates, and more. This data can be used to improve and optimize landing pages, and in turn, improve the business’ overall standing.
Included in the lineup of analytics tools that Instapage offers is the Conversion Goals tool built within the page builder, which allows you to set specific goals for your page to track. You can also integrate with third party analytics platforms to gain insight into user behavior and boost optimization of your page. This includes Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel and many others. Instapage Analytics helps users understand how their landing pages perform and make data-driven decisions about how to improve them.
