This is where you can see a complete overview of the progress you are making. You won’t see much on your dashboard because this is your first attempt. Building a Landing Page from Scratch
Click on “Landing pages” in the left-side menu of your dashboard and then click “Create Page”. You’ll be presented with a wide selection of landing page templates that you can customize for your promotion.
If you are an experienced web designer, you will be able to create a blank page. However, since many of you are reading this and will use it for the first time, we’ll construct a full landing page using existing page templates for the sake of this tutorial.
You have many options to choose from depending on the purpose of your campaign. Select the Use case filter to see a list of available templates. You may find a template that’s designed to convince users to download your app (App download), one geared toward signing people up for an upcoming event (Event registration), or one that’s made to simply thank them for purchasing your product/service (Thank you). Instapage has a template for every use case.
Let’s suppose we are creating a landing page for launching a product. What are you going to do in this situation? To start, you can pick “Product launch” from the use case filter, then select one of the multiple themes that will come up in the search results. A page preview will be displayed to you as you select the landing page design you feel best fits your product. This preview will give you an idea of the final product when it is made available to the public.
Then, it’s up to you whether you’re going to use it or not. If, for some reason, you don’t vibe with the layout, and you can always go back and skim through until you find the perfect fit. You can add elements to create blocks within pages, but you also have the benefit of being able save it and reuse it whenever you need to make another page. To further cut the time spent on building landing pages in half, you can save the blocks you made yourself as Instablocks, which you can implement when you create other pages in future projects. Global Blocks, on the other hand, work in the same way as Instablocks. The only difference is that they are specific to one page. At the same time, the latter looks consistent even across multiple pages that have it included. If you make changes to a Global Block on a page, they will reflect on any other blocks.
