In this review, I will share my extensive Instapage review to help you decide if it’s the best.
Instapage has been a great tool for me to create high-converting pages for both my business and others. Since I got the opportunity and enough money to move from a different page builder to here, I have grown to appreciate how much Instapage can offer. Of course, there are some benefits that I’ve enjoyed so far, but for every pro, there has to be a con somehow.
With that said, I’ll be taking a close look at the features offered by Instapage, as well as discussing the pricing plans offered by the platform and how to use it for the first time. You’ll be able to see if Instapage is right for you by the end of the review.

Instapage Landing Page Builder: An Overview User Flow Vs Flow Chart
Before we get to the bottom of all of this, you must know first-hand what Instapage really is as a platform. Instapage is a landing-page builder that helps you create attractive, eye-catching and high-quality landing pages. However, it’s not just any average landing page editor. Instapage is backed by a number of powerful tools that make it simple to quickly create high-converting landing page templates.
With its drag-and-drop interface, Instapage lets you customize your pages without any semblance of coding knowledge. You can also explore ready-made templates that are suitable for different industries and niches. With its ability to customize and personalize dynamically, your pages will stand out among the rest with an extensive library that includes images, videos and building blocks.
Instapage offers advanced analytics tools that allow you to monitor how each page performs, in keeping with its promise of delivering outstanding conversion rates and promising leads through your landing pages. It also allows you to connect to leading reporting, marketing and testing platforms to make the most out of your landing pages. This makes it possible to quickly reach your goals. Because of all these and more included in this online software, there’s no doubt that Instapage has become one of the most popular landing page builders on the market today.
Instapage is a tool to create a landing page
A landing page is essential for any business, especially one that is online-focused. It not only shows how your business will look to the public but also provides a way for you to build a loyal customer base.
While the idea of building a landing page sounds great, it does, however, come at a cost – and an expensive one, too. The overall cost of creating a landing page can depend on several factors, from the complexity of the design to the resources needed to build and maintain it. However, it is more expensive to create and maintain a landing page that has many features. It doesn’t help, either, if you don’t have the skills or time to create one yourself and would rather rely on hiring a designer or agency to do it for you. You could end up spending several hundred to several thousand more on this route than you have budgeted.
Instapage is the perfect solution if you are looking to create high-quality and high-converting landing pages. Instapage offers many customization options and features that make it easy to create pages that look great and work perfectly.
Instapage is an effective tool for creating engaging, user-friendly landing pages that drive potential users into bona fide customers and increase revenue. Apart from its page-building customization tools, here are some of the go-to reasons why this platform is worth the try for anyone who manages any business, big or small.
You don’t need to know how to make complicated landing pages
Instapage is an intuitive platform that makes it easy to create beautiful pages quickly and without the need for outside help. You don’t need to be a web design expert just to build a fully-functioning page because all of its tools are ready for that purpose.
Made to create Landing Pages and landing pages only
Unlike other page builders, particularly the built-in WordPress page builder, Instapage comes with templates that are exclusively designed in the style of a landing page. Plus, you have many more options to choose from, so you will get everything!
More analytics-oriented page-building
Instapage allows you to optimize landing pages for conversions. You can test different versions and track the results. You can also maximize your reach with powerful analytics and optimization tools to track your page’s performance and identify areas for improvement.
Build Multiple Landing Pages with One Account
If you happen to manage multiple websites, your single Instapage account is enough to create and host multiple landing pages for each site. This is a huge advantage over other website builders whose base plans allow you to manage only one per account.
Instapage Features: A Hands-On Review of Its Templates, Editing, and More
Signing in to Instapage will be your first step. It already has a lot of tools and features that you need to create beautiful landing pages. These are just a few of the many offerings offered by Instapage.
- Easy-to-use page builder that uses drag-and-drop technology
- The option to create mobile-friendly versions of landing pages
- Templates that can be customized to your exact specifications
- Blocks, forms, and other elements that can be easily resized and modified to fit your needs.
- Unlimited access to high-quality stock images
- Export to WordPress or your custom domain for easy publishing and export
- Integrations with popular email marketing and digital marketing tools like MailChimp
As you can see, these are just some of the many features that you can expect from Instapage. The rest will be covered in the article. But for now, I thought it would be helpful to give you a first-hand look at how it feels to use Instapage’s landing page builder.
Sign up now to create an account. Just like every other landing page builder, you won’t fully get the Instapage experience until you register your account. As soon as you log in, you’ll first notice your dashboard, where you’ll find a full overview of how much progress you’ll be making. You won’t see much on your dashboard because this is your first attempt. It’s okay, you’ll learn how to create your own landing page. Let’s get started!
From scratch, you can build a landing page
Click on “Landing pages” in the left-side menu of your dashboard and then click “Create Page”. Once you hit the button, you’ll instantly be greeted by a vast collection of around 200 landing page templates, each of which you can use and customize however you like for whatever you want to promote.
You’ll also be given the option to start with a blank page without any template or design (Blank Page), but that’s up to you if you think you have experience in building websites. However, since many of you are reading this and will use it for the first time, we’ll construct a full landing page using existing page templates for the sake of this tutorial.
There are a lot of template options that you can choose from based on your planned campaign by selecting the use case filter. You may find a template that’s designed to convince users to download your app (App download), one geared toward signing people up for an upcoming event (Event registration), or one that’s made to simply thank them for purchasing your product/service (Thank you). No matter the use case, Instapage has a template all set for you to use.
Let’s suppose we are creating a landing page for launching a product. What should you do? You can start by selecting “Product Launch” from the filter. Next, choose one of the themes that will appear in the search results. A page preview will be displayed to you as you select the landing page design you feel best fits your product. This preview will give you an idea of the final product when it is made available to the public.
Then, it’s up to you whether you’re going to use it or not. If, for some reason, you don’t vibe with the layout, and you can always go back and skim through until you find the perfect fit. Otherwise, if you like it, then you can click “Use this layout.” After you have chosen the landing page design you will need to give it a name to help keep things organized.
Customizing Your Landing Page
Now that you have your page layout, it is time to personalize it to your liking. You’ll be immediately redirected to the Instapage page builder, which happens to be one of my all-time favorites coming from the platform (an opinion that, surprisingly, everyone agrees!). This stage allows you to enhance the visual appeal and engagement of your landing page. The best part of it all is that you don’t need to do any of the work since Instapage does it for you.
Instapage Builder allows you to drag and drop elements anywhere on the page. This is in contrast to WordPress, which may allow you to try pulling any element but it will be locked in a row or column and cannot move at all. It works in a similar way to the Photoshop interface. You won’t see any elements you drag get locked, so you can move your mouse around and drag-and drop as you please.
Although drag-and-drop may seem more Photoshop-like than the rest of Builder’s interface, it should still feel familiar to anyone who has used the WordPress editor before. There are many elements, widgets and forms available to you. Once you click on one of them, you can make any changes you want to your landing page.
Adding Elements and Making Modifications
The Instapage Builder experience, of course, wouldn’t be complete without the ability to add and rearrange a wide array of visual elements such as images, videos, and graphics, as well as headlines, text boxes, buttons, shapes, and even widgets. Additionally, you can add interactive features like surveys and text box forms to help capture user data easily while keeping them engaged. You can also use fonts, colors, and other design elements to further enhance the look of your page. User Flow Vs Flow Chart
Instapage terminology refers to a group of elements that are grouped together as a block. You can add elements and make a few notable adjustments to a block. If you want, you can copy, duplicate, and even delete the block. And that’s just for creating a full block – if you don’t have ample time to deal with it or are not confident enough with your page-building skills, you can always look at the Instapage Builder’s selection of block templates, each ready-to-use.
You’ll notice the preview for a landing page you create is designed for desktop. If you want to create a mobile-friendly version of your page here in Instapage, you won’t have to worry about starting again from scratch. That’s because every single one of its templates is automatically optimized for mobile use. You can hide certain elements, or entire blocks, just like you could with the desktop version. This is useful for those who visit your landing page via their smartphones.
With this life-saving feature, you won’t need to go too far to the point where you’ll have two completely different page versions. Overall, by customizing your landing page this way, you can create an attractive and effective platform for marketing your products or services.
Publishing Your Landing Page
This is the most important part. Now you need to publish your page to make it available to your audience. A landing page is essential to promoting a product or service. This will ensure that your page is seen by as many people as possible and help you to increase traffic to your site. User Flow Vs Flow Chart
Are you satisfied with the layout and design? Instapage can be integrated with any of these options:
- You will need to connect your custom domain to your Instapage account before it can be published to your domain. This process is quite complicated, but Instapage will guide you with instructions.
- WordPress – you can publish your page in an instant thanks to its native WordPress integration
- Drupal – If you are a large-scale Drupal user, your Instapage-made page can be published instantly by connecting it with the Drupal plug-in.
- Facebook – this option is useful if you expect most of your visitors to find your page via Facebook and you want to improve the user experience there
- Demo page – this is a quick and easy option for publishing your landing page if you don’t own a website domain; instead, you’ll be provided a subdomain from Instapage itself.
You can also download your page to be edited and modified for future use, or export it to co-workers and collaborators. You can save your page progress and come back anytime if you aren’t ready to publish it.
Instapage’s Other Important Features
Instablocks & Global Blocks
You can add elements to create blocks within pages, but you also have the benefit of being able save it and reuse it whenever you need to make another page. You can also save your own blocks as Instablocks to cut down on the time it takes to build landing pages. These blocks can be used in future pages. Simply right-click the block you wish to reuse, and then click “Save To My Blocks”. User Flow Vs Flow Chart
Global Blocks, on the other hand, work in the same way as Instablocks. The only difference is that they are specific to one page. The Global Blocks look consistent across all pages. If you make changes to a Global Block on a page, they will reflect on any other blocks. This can be very useful if you have a section on your website that you wish to be consistent across pages, such as a header, footer or footer. You can disable this feature if you wish.
Split Testing to Optimize Your Landing Pages
A/B/n testing is a great way to optimize your page. Before you’re ready to publish, you need to ensure that whatever you’re making should attract the general public. With the optimization experiments feature built into the Instapage Builder, you can easily determine which elements or blocks of the landing page should stay as is since most users are particularly drawn to it, as well as which parts need to be changed.
Instapage allows you to split-test multiple versions of a landing page by clicking on the “Traffic Split” button in the Builder, which enables you to compare different variations of the same page and analyze which performs better. You can create multiple pages and choose the percentage of traffic that will be sent to each version. Instapage then shows you detailed analytic metrics, allowing you to see which version performs better. The winning page can be used as your final landing page layout. You can also continue testing with other variants to optimize it. This will ensure that your page provides the best visitor experience and increases conversion rates. User Flow Vs Flow Chart
Real-Time Collaboration Tools
Instapage’s many benefits include the ability to collaborate with others and create an immersive experience. With the platform’s live collaboration, working in groups or as a team will be possible. You can add comments to different pages by clicking on the blocks or elements. This feature is helpful if you have any suggestions or requests for changes to the layout and design.
Instapage also allows you to share your page with your team members, even if it is still in progress. This URL can be copied and shared in the group chat. You can invite them all with their email addresses. Your page can be accessed by other Instapage users. Those who don’t have an account can still view what you are working on.
Instapage AdMap for Increased Conversions
The AdMap tool is a great way to make sure your landing page for your product/service gets sent to the right people. It’s designed to help increase your conversions and maximize your return on investment by creating and tracking ads across multiple platforms, particularly Google search results and social media sites.
AdMap allows you to customize your ads based on your audience’s interests and behaviors. It can be used to optimize the customer’s journey by identifying and removing the pain points and roadblocks to conversion. It also allows users to view how changes to ads or pages affect the performance of their campaigns. Instapage AdMap offers a simple interface and detailed analytics reports that will help anyone increase their conversion rate and ROI. To access the feature, you will need a Google Ads account. Integration with Google Ads
Google Ads is a great tool for business and digital marketing. You can connect your landing page to your Google Ads account to increase your reach to a wider audience. With only a few clicks away, you can review and keep track of your campaign’s progress, how much you’ve spent, and even how well-received your pages are for countless online users worldwide – all while you’re in your Instapage dashboard.
Heatmap Analytics Tool
Instapage’s native heatmap analytics allows you to see how users interact with your landing pages. This will allow you to gain valuable insight into customers’ use of a website. With this tool, businesses can easily identify hotspots on their sites, such as pages that are visited most often or buttons that are clicked most frequently.
Heatmaps can also be used to identify usability issues that customers might have, which allows businesses to quickly and effectively make improvements. This can be used to track visitor journeys across multiple pages and devices, providing valuable information about how customers engage with content and websites and helping businesses grow and succeed in the long run. Analytics in Instapage
Instapage excels as both a landing-page creator and a lead generation tool. Its analytics section perfectly reflects this. As one of the platform’s top-selling assets, real-time analytics gives you a full scope of how well your page is performing online, thanks to its detailed visuals and accurate numbers. It allows you to track and analyze the performance of their landing pages. The feature provides detailed information on metrics such as page views, unique visitors, bounce rates, and more. This data can be used to improve and optimize landing pages, and in turn, improve the business’ overall standing.
Instapage’s analytics tools include the Conversion Goals tool, which is built into the page builder. This allows you to create specific goals for your page and track them. You can also integrate with third party analytics platforms to gain insight into user behavior and boost optimization of your page. This includes Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel and many others. Instapage Analytics helps users understand how their landing pages perform and make data-driven decisions about how to improve them.
